Meet Our Advisory Board on Evaluation Best Practices and Nonprofit Leadership

Tiyuv’s mission to advance justice through evaluation is strengthened by the wisdom and experience of our Advisory Board. This council is composed of visionary leaders—experts in nonprofit leadership, social justice, and evaluation best practices—who ensure our strategic growth remains grounded in equity, accountability, and the deepest commitment to the communities we serve.

Violeta Stolpen, MBA

Tiyuv Advisory Board Chair, Director of Operations-NYC, Jewtina y Co.

BIO
Violeta Stolpen (she/ella) is a proud Mexican-American Jewtina immigrant and serves as Jewtina y Co.'s first Director of Operations-NYC. Violeta oversees the organization’s day-to-day operations, ensuring cohesive implementation of strategic goals. She loves engaging others in her family and community's diverse, multicultural customs and celebrations. Violeta is a proud PUENTES Fellowship alumna. Dedicated to community and economic development, she has served in the nonprofit and for-profit spaces helping historically marginalized individuals and entrepreneurs access affordable capital and supportive services. Violeta is a current fellow of JOIN’s Jews of Color Organizing Fellowship. She sits on the Board of Directors for Jewish Family Services of Delaware and the Advisory Board of Tiyuv. Violeta holds a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Bucknell University. Violeta has lived in Guanajuato, Mexico, Washington, D.C., New York City, Long Beach, CA, and calls home wherever her partner and two young children live.

Jeremy Braithwaite, PhD

Co-Founder, EvaluACT

BIO
Dr. Jeremy Braithwaite is a community-engaged researcher, evaluator, OD consultant, and strategist with over 20 years of experience. He is the Principal and Co-Founder of EvaluACT, a mission-driven consulting firm that partners with Tribal nations, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic institutions to design, implement, and evaluate initiatives that advance equity and wellbeing. Jeremy also serves as a Tribal Research Specialist with the Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI), where he supports community-based research and systems change efforts (particularly in the Tribal child welfare and Tribal victim advocacy spaces) grounded in Tribal sovereignty and Indigenous governance systems. In addition, he is affiliate faculty at San Carlos Apache College, where he contributes to curriculum development and strategic planning. A long-time collaborator with Tiyuv, Jeremy has served as a trainer for its Evaluation Training and Mentoring Program, supporting Jewish professionals in building community evaluation skills. Jeremy specializes in culturally responsive evaluation, organizational learning, and strategy development. He brings a deep commitment to relational accountability and community-led organizing in his service on the Tiyuv Board of Directors.

Rhonda Hill

Founder, Race and Faith

BIO
Rhonda Hill is a seasoned strategist and advocate with over a decade of experience addressing systemic racism and economic inequity. Her career spans leadership roles across nonprofit and faith-based—including the Milwaukee Social Development Commission, the YWCA, the Greater Milwaukee Synod of the ELCA, the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee and now through her own organization, Race and Faith—where she has consistently championed equity, collaboration, and community resilience. Rhonda holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, grounding her work in both relational insight and ethical leadership. Known for her ability to foster psychological safety and lead through ambiguity, she brings a unique blend of strategic vision, cultural intelligence, and values-centered facilitation to every space she enters.

Nicole Robinson, PhD, MSW, MPH

Evaluator, NNR Evaluation, Planning & Research LLC

BIO

Dr. Nicole Robinson is an evaluator and founder of NNR Evaluation, Planning & Research LLC, a social justice-oriented firm that builds the evaluative power of organizations serving communities of color. With over 20 years in the nonprofit sector and 17 years in evaluation, Nicole uses feminist, emancipatory, and culturally responsive approaches grounded in liberation and social justice. She is the founding Board President of ¡Milwaukee Evaluation! Inc., Wisconsin’s AEA affiliate, where she supports a pipeline for evaluators of color and underrepresented groups. Nicole holds advanced degrees in social work and public health from the University of Michigan and a doctorate from UW-Milwaukee, where her research explored Black feminist ecology and place-based impacts on crime.

Maria Isabel Rosario, MFA

Development Operations Coordinator, Good Shepherd Community Care

BIO

Maria Isabel Rosario (she/her) is a member of the Leadership Council at Temple Israel Boston and has served as a co-chair for TI’s Racial Justice Initiative, focusing on racial equity and social justice. She is also a member of TI's racial diversity, equity, and inclusion team. Maria is a proud alumna of the Jewtina y Co Puentes Fellowship, a member of the JWOC III Cohort, and is URJ JewVNation Fellow. Maria previously served as a Social Justice Educator at the Rashi School in Dedham, MA. Prior to Rashi, she worked as a Community Organizer at the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA) in Boston, where she coordinated multiple synagogues in voter rights work. She was also the Lead Organizer on an initiative aimed at creating opportunities for the JOC community in Massachusetts to address the policy issues and social concerns impacting communities of color through a lens of both their Jewish and racial identities. Currently, Maria works as a Development Operations Coordinator at Good Shepherd Community Care. She holds a BA in Social Sciences from Harvard University, and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the Mountainview Low Residency writing program at Southern New Hampshire University.
